The Race is ON in Rwanda!

How can they do this in such a short amount of time? They understand that technology will drive their economy and they’re willing to spend the capital to make it work. President Kagame is a dedicated president who works 16 hours per day on furthering the goals for Rwanda before his term ends in 2017. They are now the largest customer from Africa for the One Laptop Per Child movement. It appears that they are also cracking down on corruption. Gone are the days of “In most countries in Africa, aide organizations give $10 and $9 disappears.” It is becoming well known that “In Rwanda of every $10 in aide or investments, $9 is accountable with performance metrics. And the $1 that disappears, ends up in jail.”
Can they do it? They are frequently being visited by many countries in the region who want to know what they are doing to reach this goal.
