Facebook Opens the Door to Call to Action on Cover Photos

Facebook has been very strict when it comes to what could and could not be on the cover photo of a company page. But never fear! They have expanded the guidelines to now include a “Call to Action” which allows website addresses, coupons or discount text and contact information of any sort.

This is all the guidelines say now, as posted on Facebook’s Help Center:

“All covers are public. This means that anyone who visits your Page will be able to see your cover. Covers can’t be deceptive, misleading, or infringe on anyone else’s copyright. You may not encourage people to upload your cover to their personal timelines. Covers may not include images with more than 20% text.”
